Astrocal & Google Calendar

Astrocal provides a REST API, an embeddable booking widget, and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that let applications and AI agents schedule meetings programmatically. A typical flow is: a customer or agent checks your open time slots, picks one, and Astrocal creates the booking. Google Calendar is the source of truth for your availability and the destination for confirmed bookings.

When you connect a Google account, Astrocal requests access to your Google Calendar for two purposes only:

• Read your availability. We read free/busy information and existing event times so Astrocal only offers slots when you are genuinely free.
• Write confirmed bookings. When a booking is confirmed, we create the corresponding calendar event, and update or cancel it if the booking is rescheduled or cancelled.

OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. You can revoke Astrocal's access at any time from your Google Account security settings or by disconnecting the calendar from your Astrocal dashboard.

Astrocal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We specifically do not:

• Sell or transfer Google user data to data brokers or other third parties;
• Use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting or personalized ads;
• Use Google user data to train or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models;
• Allow humans to read Google user data, except with your explicit consent for specific data, for security or abuse investigations, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.
